Dakota Fanning looked stunning in a green dress while attending the premiere of the upcoming horror film The Watchers in New York.

Dakota Fanning put on quite the show while attending the premiere of The Watchers in New York on Sunday.

The 30-year-old Uptown Girls actress, who recently showed off her chic side during a photo shoot for the upcoming supernatural horror film, was among other celebrities on the red carpet for the screening at the AMC Lincoln Square Theatre.

The blonde beauty wore a figure-hugging dark green dress with a plunging neckline in the front and a short train that flowed behind the star.

Fanning's shoes, held together by gold straps, also concealed the shoes she chose to wear for the festivities.

Her long locks were parted down the middle and flowed easily over her shoulders in light waves.

Dakota opted to wear minimal accessories, adding a gold bracelet on her left wrist and a sparkling ring on her right hand.

Her makeup was classic, with a coat of mascara on her lids and a light, shimmery shadow around her eyes.

A touch of pink was added to her cheekbones to give her a radiant glow, while a satin nude color was used on her lips for a finishing touch.

Fanning took a different approach and arrived at the venue before the screening of The Watchers.

The film was directed by Aishna Night Shyamalan, daughter of critically acclaimed filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan. He is known for starring in films such as The Sixth Sense (1999), Signs (2002), The Visit (2015) and Old (2021).

In addition to Dakota, other stars of the project include Georgina Campbell, Olon Fourie, Siobhan Hewlett and Oliver Finnegan.

The premise is: “A young artist is trapped in a vast forest in the west of Ireland, where, after being sheltered, she finds herself trapped with three strangers, haunted each night by mysterious creatures.”

During a recent interview with ScreenRant last May, Fanning expressed her joy at having the opportunity to work with Ishaana, who also made her directorial debut with The Watchers.

“Ishaana wrote the script and directed it, and it’s hard to believe that this is her first time directing a feature film,” the actress said. “”

“As a person, he’s really nice and kind, so it’s a pleasure to be around him.” “”

“As a director, and I think this comes across a lot in the people who wrote the material, they have a clear idea of what they’re looking for visually and [when] directors come in…”

Fanning later added that Aishna did “a wonderful job of blending the fantasy and the premise of the story.”

“And I think she obviously learned a lot from Knight, a very talented person. It’s just a real family of artists, so it was fun to be around that energy.”

Ishaana was also present at the glitzy premiere, sporting a light gray fitted dress made from woven fabric and draped around her neck for a dramatic touch.

She also donned a pair of red open-toed pumps that gave the ensemble a pop of color.

The star's dark locks were parted to one side and pulled back into a sleek bun, allowing her side-swept bangs to fall softly over her forehead.

She added a pair of sparkly silver earrings while adding a coat of mascara on her lids and a smoky shadow around her eyes.

A warm gloss and contour was added to highlight her cheekbones, while a matte nude color was used on her lips.

On the red carpet, Aishna was seen crossing paths with Dakota Fanning and the pair stopped to take memorable photos together. At one point, the duo laughed during a quick photoshoot at the event.

The aspiring director was joined by his proud father, M. Night Shyamalan, who wore a classic black tuxedo.

Underneath, he wore a black shirt with purple floral detailing and slipped on a pair of sleek black shoes.

Fanning was later seen flashing a small smile as she posed for a photo with Ishana and her father.

Olwyn Fourie also made a statement in a semi-sheer white floral dress with a knee-length hem and layers of fabric on the sides.

The Irish-born actress opted for a black bralette underneath and donned sheer black tights along with a pair of black closed-toe heels.

She opted for minimal accessories to make her outfit the focal point and added a cube of silver earrings on her left ear.

Olwyn is no stranger to the horror genre, having previously worked on films such as The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (2022) and Tarot (2024).

Siobhan Hewlett oozed old Hollywood glamour in a bright yellow backless floor-length gown.

The dress was made from a shiny material and featured a plunging neckline at the front for a warm touch.

Her blonde locks were parted to the side and fell softly over her shoulders in beautiful curls.

The Sherlock star added a pair of shiny gold earrings and opted for a bold red lip colour for the finishing touch.

Zarina Yeva turned heads in a sparkling burgundy dress embellished with lace detailing on the top and held up with thin straps.

The beauty wore a pair of black open-toed pumps and her long, dark locks flowed straight behind her.

She wore a gold watch on her left wrist and easily carried a sparkly clutch in her hand to hold a few essentials at the premiere.

After a special screening in New York on Sunday, The Watchers will hit theaters later this month on Friday, June 7.
