Ben Affleck (51 years old) is busy in Los Angeles amid his current marital dispute with Jennifer Lopez (54 years old), while shopping with his son and filming the second part of the movie The Accountant.

 

Ben Affleck is busy being a mess.

The Air actor and director, 51, whose relationship troubles with wife Jennifer Lopez, 54, have made headlines this month, has been spotted at various locations in the greater Los Angeles area in recent days amid speculation over the fate of the film's union roster.

The two-time Oscar winner, who is the father of daughters Violet, 18, and Seraphina, 15, and son Samuel, 12, was photographed with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, 52, shopping for vintage clothes with his son on Monday. 

Lopez, mother to twins Emme and Maximilian, 16, and ex-husband Marc Anthony, 55, “is still living separately” from Affleck, a source told People magazine on Tuesday, noting that she is “paying a lot of attention to work.”

Affleck also seemed focused on work on Tuesday, as he was seen filming his upcoming movie The Accountant 2 in a Los Angeles studio.

Affleck, who reprises his role as mathematician Christian Wolff in the 2016 sequel to the film, was seen wearing a light blue button-up shirt and khaki pants with white sneakers.

He appeared smoking a cigarette during a break in filming.

Affleck stars in the upcoming Amazon MGM Studios film alongside Jon Bernthal, who was also pictured on set Tuesday, as well as J.K. Simmons and Cynthia Addy Robinson. All four actors appeared in the original film.

Gavin O'Connor and Bill Dubeck, the directors and writers behind the original film, are also working on the sequel.

Lopez's film career continues to flourish as his latest release, the sci-fi thriller Atlas, was Netflix's biggest movie in its opening weekend, with 28.2 million views, the streaming service said Tuesday.

Lopez is also continuing her music career as she prepares for a North American summer tour that begins next month in Orlando, Florida.

A source close to Lopez told People magazine on May 22 that the marriage is "not in the best place right now."

A separate source (in the music business) noted that the split between husband and wife over fundamental philosophicalfundamental philosophical differences "was difficult on a daily basis."

Sources said that she loves to open her heart to her fans and the world. “It's more independent and private.”

We're less than two years away from Affleck and Lopez's Aug. 20, 2022 wedding at Affleck's home outside Savannah, Georgia, a month after they exchanged vows in Las Vegas on July 16, 2002. That happened a long time later.
